Takashi Inoue - President and CEO

Takashi Inoue was born in November 1968, and raised in Yokohama, Japan. He graduated from Aoyama Gakuin University, College of Economics, in 1991. In April of the same year, he joined Recruit COSMOS Co., Ltd. (now COSMOS INITIA Co., Ltd.) to work as a sales representative of new condominium apartments.
During his time there, he began having doubts about the real estate industry. Convinced that the way the real estate industry was set up should be changed, Inoue left his job in July 1995 and established NEXT, Co., Ltd. in March 1997. The home and real estate information portal site "HOME'S" was launched with the aim of establishing an information infrastructure that made use of the internet. HOME'S has grown to become one of Japan's largest real estate and housing information listing sites.
Besides HOME'S, NEXT also runs a local information website. The aim of the site is to revitalize regional communities and improve neighborhood relationships by creating an online platform of information relevant to the community.
Mr. Inoue's personal motto is "altruism", which is also the Company Credo. His ultimate goal is "World Peace", and he aims to reduce negative feelings in society such as "anxiety", "dissatisfaction", and "inconvenience" through the company's various services. Aside from the services at NEXT, Mr. Inoue is also involved with an NPO that supports the Republic of Benin by building schools, etc. On his days off, Mr. Inoue enjoys spending time with his wife and son.
